Overview
At the gateway to the new Parkstadt Karlshorst, in the district of the same name and in the heart of Berlin’s up-and-coming southeast, the new ‘Parkstadt Karlshorst’ neighborhood center is taking shape.
The Parkstadt Karlshorst neighborhood center is a mixed-use development with over 20,000 m² GFA (Gross Floor Area). In addition to large-scale retail, a spacious daycare center (for approx. 150 children) and retail-related services, the project features office space, medical suites, fitness facilities, serviced apartments and gastronomy. A major portion of the leasable space is already pre-let.
The infrastructure includes a surface-level parking lot (with a managed parking system) as well as an underground garage for long-term rentals. In recent years, approximately 1,500 new residential units – primarily high-end condominiums – have been constructed at this location. These modern additions complement the surrounding “Gründerzeit” (late 19th-century) architecture of the neighboring Prinzenviertel and the central heart of the Karlshorst district.
